Popped out of the mothership on April 12, 1976 in Montreal, Canada, TAKi76 landed in Philly in 2001. Heavily influenced by Prince, Parliament Funkadelic, Sly Stone, Stevie Wonder, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Jimi Hendrix, Eddie Hazel and many other soul/jazz/funk artists, he learned to produce and write his own music as well as perform each instrument. This one man funk band also plays guitar, bass, keys and the funky drum machine for Jenny Jen n Taki76 (the band formerly known as Phat Sk8trax) and his solo albums.
